Sleep is for the weak
Like they'd let us sleep. :)
It's a girl. It weighs 6 lbs 6 ozs.
Er, she weighs 6 lbs 6 ozs. Not sure the length, but she has light brown eyes and reports say that she's the most beautiful baby in the hospital.
It's looking like it might be Saturday rather than Friday.
But who knows. We'll update as we get word.

My turn -- AAAIIIHHH!!!!!! I'm too old; I can't get used to having to log on for the freshest news. I spent the night waiting & wondering when all I had to do was go here. I'll catch up one of these days; of course, by then there will be some new fancy something for me to get used to. Does this really explain why my computer guru husband didn't think about looking & was waiting and wondering, too?
At any rate, we're so thankful to God that she has made her entrance and is apparently well.
I can understand Reka wanting to leave the hospital before the baby; it would be really hard for her to see the empty bed.
Well, keep in mind the post times are west coast times. I posted this at 11:07pm. Dad's normally in bed by 8:30pm. :)
Ahh, but not last night. Last night he was so excited he went to a late movie and then called me at 12:15 a.m. to see if there was news. I jumped out of bed, thinking it was news from TX. He said, "Did I wake you up?" My response was less than cordial but affirmative.
I figured the time business out, but I was actually still up when you posted the earlier of the two.
