Scenes From My Life

ACT I

-kids are in the living room playing, Mom in the kitchen cleaning-
(no dialouge)
--begin scene--

Zoë is playing with a tube of lotion she got in trouble for playing with less than an hour ago and knows she's not allowed to play with (much less chew on)

Mom notices, but Zoë dosen't realize she been seen

Mom starts walking toward Zoë and she finally looks up, Mom dosen't look happy

Zoë looks left, then right. Nothing seems out of place, no incriminating evidence in view there.

Mom's still coming and still dosen't look happy

What could it be? Zoë checks her hands, Uh-oh!

Zoë drops the lotion much like one might drop a live scorpion they suddenly discover they are holding and proceeds to furiously play with the nearest toy as though that was what she had been doing all along.

Mom arrives, she dosen't look fooled.

--end scene--

ACT II

-Mom and kids sitting in front of the couch in the living room, having just finished reading a story-

--begin scene--

Zoë, feeling pleased with her story and having gotten enough attention to satisfy her for the moment moves off to play.

Jason, though, feels more attention is necessary and whines his way into Moms lap.

Mom gives Jason big hugs and cuddles, which he returns enthusiasticly.

Mom: oooh, sweet boy!

Jason: uuhhooohh. (as he pats mom's back during a suprisingly long hug)

Jason: (a short pause followed by maniacal cackling)

Jasons feet begin to scurry against Mom's lap, abdomen, and chest.

Mom: YOU USED ME, SKINNER!!!

With one last cackle Jason launches himself over Mom's sholder and onto the couch (which he can't get up on by himself) and begins his triumphant bouncing.

--end scene--

LOL yup, way more going on in a baby's mind when they get to that age. It's funny how you can see the thoughts cross their face. :)
