They're Baaaaaaaaack
Bonny and the kids finally got back home. It's a long story of flight cancellations, delays, standbys and New Mexico. But I'll let Bonny get into all that.
The kids had pretty much the reaction I expected them too. I was picking Bonny and them up from our friends' house. The kids came around the corner and saw Bonny and me sitting on the couch. They both stopped dead in their tracks and stared at me. (They were both pretty tired.) I said, "Come here." and motioned them over. Zoƫ, who was closer, came over slowly and I picked her up. I talked with her a little bit and then made eye contact with Jason. He smiled and then ran for me with his arms up. I set him on the other side and they really didn't do much after that. They just sat on me, and looked pitiful.
Jason cried anytime I set him down. He cried really hard this morning when I had to go to work.
It breaks your heart, but I really don't know what to do.
